National Catalog Advertising  DEADLINE: August 1, 2024 There is no better way to reach a national English Setter Audience than to advertise in the National Specialty Catalog.! With our deadline rapidly approaching there is still time to place an ad with brags, your fresh faces and your adorable puppies. You might consider placing a kennel page format since National Catalogs are kept for reference FOREVER! Versatility Showcase DEADLINE: August 5, 2024 To recognize and honor those who have earned Versatile English Setter (VES) titles by successfully competing in at least three different venues with their English Setters. The handlers and their dogs will enter the ring with the dogs on leash, their names and a short biography will be read. They will be presented with a rosette inscribed with the dog’s name and titles earned. Only dogs and handlers present at the National will participate in the Showcase. Do not miss this fun opportunity to showcase your Versatile English Setter! Trophy, Raffle & Top Twenty Donations DEADLINE to have your Donation included in the Catalog: August 1, 2024 We would love to include your generous donations to our Trophy, Raffle and Top Twenty funds in our national catalog but to be included they must be received by August 1, 2024. We of course will continue to accept your donations up until and during the 2024 National but cannot guarantee acknowledgement in the catalog. National & Regional Specialties, Agility and Grooming  DEADLINE: August 28, 2024 Entries for the ESAA National and Regional Specialties will close earlier this year at 12:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, so we have plenty of time to put together an amazing catalog for this year’s National. Entries for Agility will close at 6:00 PM ET on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Grooming reservations will also close on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Roberts Centre Holiday Inn DEADLINE: September 1, 2024 Currently our room block is full, and the hotel is referring our exhibitors to overflow hotels in the area. If you currently have a reservation in our room block and have plans of cancelling, please considers notifying our National Coordinator, Tannley Goldberg NationalCoordinator@esaa.com so she can arrange to have your reservation moved to another exhibitor. Health Clinic  DEADLINE: September 4, 2024 There are still plenty of appointments available! The 2024 Health Clinic will be on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 8:00am-2:00pm at the host hotel. As in the past ESAA will be contributing funds towards screening to keep costs low for members. This year we will be offering AKC/DNA screening, and AKC Reunite ISO microchips. We will also offer Thyroid Panels submitted to Michigan State University, OFA, CHIC, and DNA Repository. Appointments and payment must be made in advance of the clinic. RV Reservations DEADLINE: September 8, 2024 The Roberts Centre has 26 RV Spots that are Full Hook-ups, at a rate of $40 per night / all other parking is considered dry parking at a rate of $25 per night. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER FOR RV PARKING. RV availability is on a first come first served basis. All applications are made via the registration form on the ESAA National website and returned to kwoods@columbiahospitality.com. Scent Work Entries Open: August 21, 2024 DEADLINE: September 10, 2024 This is our first year offering Scent Work at the National with 1 trial on Tuesday, 9/24/2024 for Interiors and Containers all levels. Judges Education  DEADLINE: September 18, 2024 A Judges’ Education seminar will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in conjunction with the National Specialty and ringside mentoring is available. This seminar is for licensed and aspiring judges who wish to add English Setters as a new breed, ESAA members and anyone interested in judging someday.
